Bonnie Harris Akins

Bonnie Lee Harris Akins, 94, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away while surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, February 10, 2023. She was born September 14, 1928, to Joseph and Annie Bell Harris in Blackshear, Georgia. Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Candis Akins of Marietta and her grandchildren, Anna, Lily, Colton, Harris and Joseph Akins of Marietta, Georgia. He is also survived by her sisters, Roxie Brunson of Brunswick, Georgia, and Ruth Clayton of Toccoa, Georgia, and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ted Harris. Bonnie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Visitation will be held at 12:00 at Carmichael Funeral Home on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta, Georgia, on Sunday, February 19, 2023. Bonnie will be laid to rest at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia. Memorial donations can be made to Paradise Mountain Ministries, P.O.
