

Jean "Jeanie" Reeves Miller passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 28th, 2026.
Born on July 13th, 1956, and raised in Smyrna, Georgia, Jeanie attended Richard B. Russell Elementary and Osborne High School. While working at Dobbins Air Force Base Exchange, she met the love of her life, a Marine, Russ Miller. After a brief engagement, the two were married and made their home in Cincinnati, Ohio, where they lived for 21 years. While living in Cincinnati, they had their beautiful daughter, Heather, before returning to Georgia.
Jeanie and Russ built a quiet, but fun and happy life centered on family and friendships.
Jeanie had several different occupations throughout her life. She worked as a freelance makeup artist and had her own line of makeup. She also worked as an Account Representative for Sysco Foods, a Real Estate Agent for Century 21, and later served as a vendor in Marietta, McCaysville, and Blairsville, a work she genuinely enjoyed.
Jeanie had a passion for cooking and baking. She loved trying new recipes, and family and friends always looked forward to enjoying her delicious meals and baked treats.
She was preceded in death by her parents; L.H. Reeves and Juanita Harris Reeves, sisters Joyce Watson, Jackie Beck, and Judy Liermann, and a dear Brother in law, Dennis Deal.
Jeanie is survived by her devoted husband, Russ Miller, her precious daughter Heather, and her adored grandson, Zaiden, her beloved brother and sisters, Johnie Reeves and his wife Loretta, Janice Deal, Julie Ford, and Jane Liston and her husband Tim, brother-in-law Rick Miller, sister-in-law Robin Schulte, numerous nieces and nephews, and many treasured friends.
Jeanie was loved by many and will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
