Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Chapel at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. Interment will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
Carolyn was a lifelong resident of Marietta. She was a 1963 graduate of Marietta High School. Carolyn was of the Baptist Faith. Her family and home meant the world to her. She loved outdoor events with her family and karaoke.
Survivors include her husband, Raymond Post of Marietta; daughter, Selena Davenport and her husband, Jimmy of Ball Ground; son, Wendell Post of Marietta; five grandchildren, Melissa Riley (Rick), Jamie Covarrubias (Josh), Tyler Post, Tori Post, Angela Post; three great-grandchildren, Greyson Post, Zachary Post, and Sophie Bendik; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Augustus and Virginia Ponder; brother, Bobby Ponder; sister, Hazel Chicosky.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home.
