

Carolyn Jeane Richards, a beloved soul who graced this world with her kindness and compassion, departed from us on November 14, 2025, at the age of 89 in Acworth, Georgia. Born on November 22, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Carolyn endeared herself to all who had the privilege of knowing her. As a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs, she exemplified a life dedicated to faith and community.
In her journey through life, Carolyn was united in marriage for over 51 years to Rondal Richards, her cherished husband, who predeceased her in 2023. Their bond, characterized by mutual love and unwavering support, served as a beacon of hope and inspiration to their family and friends.
Carolyn is survived by her loving son, Dennis (Barbara) McAllister of Acworth, Georgia, and her dear daughter, Pamela (Dan) Cox of Indianapolis, Indiana. Their lives are forever enriched by the memories and lessons imparted by their mother, who embraced her roles as a parent with grace and devotion. The warmth of Carolyn's spirit and the indelible mark she left on those around her will be celebrated and remembered during the forthcoming services held at the First Baptist Church of Powder Springs. Visitation will take place on November 18, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a poignant memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM. Subsequently, she will be laid to rest at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta, Georgia, with the burial commencing at 2:45 PM.
