Carolyn Emogene Satterfield

A Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday at NorthStar Church in Kennesaw with Rev. Mike Linch officiating. Interment will take place at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Jean was a Marietta native and graduated from Osborne High School where she was a star basketball player. She married her high school sweetheart, Vernon Satterfield and they had three children. Jean retired from Lockheed and loved gardening as she has a green thumb. She had a passion for travel and was an avid Braves fan. She was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be missed by friends and family.

Survivors include her two daughters and son, Sheryl Cochran and her husband, Ken, Bob Satterfield and his wife, Cecilia, Kim Bentley and her husband, Lee; four grandchildren, Patrick Cochran, Jennifer Chase, Heather Gaines, Justin Bentley; three great-grandchildren, Liam Cochran, Easton Chase, Beckham Chase. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon R. Satterfield.
