Charlotte Dinsmore aged 80 passed away on February 12, 2024, she was born on December 3, 1943, to Bill and Betty Tennyson in Mississippi. Charlotte was a beloved Wife, Mom, Aunt, Mimi, and friend. She was known for having the kindest heart, sweetest smile and blaring her favorite music just as loud as she could. She could build a Lego set quicker than any child, turn a piece of fabric into a masterpiece, turning her home and yard into something you would see in a better homes and garden magazine. There was not much she could not do. She loved with her whole heart and her grandbabies were her whole entire heart. Being a Mimi was the best name she was ever called.
Throughout her life, Charlotte achieved many accomplishments, she retired from AT&T after over 25 years then went and opened the Flea Emporium where she could turn any old piece of furniture into the most beautiful piece of furniture. She was not afraid to repaint anything and change it up. Charlotte was a fancy little lady with her turquoise contacts and adding a little purple highlight in her spiky gray hair when she was feeling a little spicy.
Charlotte touched the lives of countless individuals through her kind and loving heart. Charlotte will be forever missed by her son Trevor, daughter-in-law Amanda, her precious grandbabies Parker and Charley. She was not only the aunt to Star (Dan) Garguilo, Amber (Darrell) Bailey and Conor Hackler but also their second mama and filled the void they needed when they lost their own. Niece Shelly (Tony) Taylor, Nephews Shawn Smith, Stefan (Toni) Harrelson and Kevin Tennyson. Great nieces Nevada, Lacie, Stormy, Sky and great nephews Logan, Tyler, Bailey, Kerigan and Candler, brother-in-law David Hackler and the largest group of friends you could imagine. Preceded in death by so many, waiting on her arrival is Husband Tony Dinsmore, daughter Donna Pullen, Parents Bill and Betty Tennyson, sisters Cynthia Harrelson, Camille Hackler, and brother Buster (Carlotta) Tennyson.
A funeral will be held on February 16, 2024 at 11AM at Roswell Funeral Home (950 Mansell Road) to celebrate Charlotte’s life and honor her contributions to our world. Visitation will be February 15, 2024 from 4p-6p at Roswell Funeral Home.
