Mr. Barnett was born in Greenville, South Carolina and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was raised in Marietta, Georgia and graduated from Sprayberry High School.
Mr. Barnett was preceded in death by his parents William Clifford and Wilma Barnett, and twin brother Don Ray Barnett. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Patti Barnett; son and daughter-in-law Dale Eugene “Little Dale” and Kristy Barnett; brothers William “Billy” Barnett (Nancy) and Michael Barnett; grandchildren Bethany Ann Barnett and fiancé Ryan, Cody Austin Barnett (Daneille), Madelyn “Mad a Lou” Elizabeth Barnett, Jordan Trey and Trenton Daniell Cota and Samantha Rose “Sammi:” Bradford; 4 great grandchildren-Savannah, Averie, Braeleigh, and Adley Barnett; and many nieces and nephews.
