Derek Lawrence Bradshaw

The most important thing in Derek’s life was his children; Vivian and Clayton were the light of his life, and he was the proudest dad ever. He loved nothing more than cheering them on as they played ball and spending time snuggling his babies. Derek also took great pride in working for UPS, not for the job itself, but for the incredible community he found there. Derek was defined by his love for life and infectious laugh. He was an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns and the Atlanta Braves, and he always stayed true to his Atlanta Falcons. He belonged to a large, tight-knit family who treated one another like siblings, and he extended that same unconditional bond to his friends, who were always considered true family.

He is survived by his beloved children, Vivian Rose and Derek Clayton Bradshaw, and their mother, Emily. He is also survived by his parents, Darrell and Kathy Bradshaw; his aunts and uncles, Don and Charlotte Villars, Phyllis and Mark Hulsey, and Mike “Bebop” Chandler; his close cousins, Sean and Hannah Villars, and Kevin and Chelsea Martindale; Lance and Ryan Bradshaw; his nieces, Ayla and Ansley McFarland; and his cousin and best friend, Clint (Nicole) Pledger. He was preceded in death by his sister, Katie Hightower; his aunt, Diane Chandler; and his grandparents.

Derek’s warmth, loyalty, and deep devotion to the people in his life will be profoundly missed by his children, family, friends, and UPS community.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at West Cobb Church in Powder Springs, GA, with a funeral service immediately to follow. A small graveside service will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Gardens.
