Gloria Jane Stone

Mrs. Gloria Jane Stone, age 83 of Marietta, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, May 6th at Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna with Rev. Barbara Hatchell officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. A native Atlantan, Gloria graduated from O’Keefe High School. She had been a Smyrna resident since 1964. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She is survived by her children: Daughter- Sherry Thompson of Douglasville, Son-Donnie Lee of Mableton, Daughter-Terri Welchel of Marietta, 7 Grandchildren-Shannon (Chris) Tweedy, Brandi (Tim) Boyd, Chris Welchel, Michelle Williams, Steven (Emilia) Welchel, Heather (Scott) Edens, Rene’ (Diana) Letourneau and 18 Great Grandchildren.
