Imogene W. Reeves

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Marietta with Dr. Sam Matthews officiating. Interment will be private.

Imogene was a lifelong resident of Marietta and a 1939 graduate of Marietta High School. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Marietta and a founding member of the Honeysuckle Garden Club. Imogene was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta.

Survivors include her three daughters, Dianne Weeks and her husband, Gene of Marietta, Pat Jenkins of Marietta, Priscilla Moss and her husband, Steve of Canton; two sons, Alan Watkins and his wife, Anne of Marietta, Ross “Rusty” Reeves and his wife, June of Arden, NC; sister in law, Mary Wilson of Marietta; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Richard “Dick” Watkins and Ross N. Reeves.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in loving memory of Imogene to the “Restore to Glory” at First United Methodist Church of Marietta, 56 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064.

The family will receive friends from 10:15 – 11:30 a.m. Friday prior to the service in the Church Parlor.
