Jack Barnes, 90 of Summerville, GA, passed away, Saturday, September 27, 2014. A funeral service will be held, 12:00 noon, Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the funeral home. Brother Worley & Richard Barnes will be officiating. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta. Mr. Barnes, a Woodstock, GA native worked for Lockheed Martin. He is preceded in death by his wife, Cleo Barnes, Survivors include his 1 son, Warren Barnes; 1 daughter, Kathy Joos; 2 brothers, Clyde & Bill Barnes; 5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends, from 4-8:00 pm on Tuesday, September 30th at the funeral home.
