

Jacqueline Myrna Hardman Carter was the second of seven children born to Royal I. Hardman, Sr. and Carolyn Louise McClendon Hardman on September 25, 1935. She left this world on March 7, 2017, to live in her heavenly home. She was a kind, generous and loving mother, mother-in-law, wife, grandmother, sister and aunt.
Jackie graduated from Fulton County High School in Atlanta, GA. She was employed by Southern Bell and Delta Air lines prior to having children and being an "on the go" stay at home mother. Among her many social engagements, she was active in bridge club, bowling league, PTA, and life groups at Eastside Baptist Church. Jackie was well-traveled and created many lasting friendships both at home and abroad.
She was predeceased by her brother, Royal I. Hardman, Jr. Her brother-in-law, Francis D. Lieb and her nephews, Ronald Todd Chamlee and Raymond Lamar Lewis.
She is survived by her husband W. F. Judson Carter, daughters Julie C. Carpenter (Monroe) and Joan L. Carter, her grandchildren: Brittany A. Schwartz (Eric), Amy L. Carpenter, Keylon C. Carpenter, Jacqueline G. Stringer, and John W. Carpenter. In addition she is survived by the following sisters and brothers, Nancy H. Lieb, Samuel H. Hardman (Judy), Judy H. Reynolds (Wayne), Jennifer H. Lewis (Derek Manders), Donald L. Hardman, Sr. and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
She was greatly loved and will be missed by all.
