James Steven Biddy

James Steven “Steve” Biddy, age 78, of Marietta, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026. A funeral service will be held June 5, 2026 at 2:00PM at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, Historic Marietta Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park.

Steve is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Biddy; son, Jeff Biddy (Sunshine); sister, Dianne Floyd (Terrell); grandchildren, Amber Williams (Evan), Jessica Howe, Hannah Biddy, and Hailey Hicks (Tristan); and great-grandchildren, Branson Williams, Taylor Warren, Ryland Williams, Jensen Hicks, Mayzie Williams, and Tate Hicks. He is predeceased by daughter, Jennifer Biddy, and son, Eric Biddy.

Steve was a man of deep faith and service. A longtime member of Kennesaw First Baptist Church, he faithfully served as a deacon and remained an active member throughout his life. Steve began his professional career with Square D, where he developed a strong work ethic and commitment to serving others. He later followed a calling to funeral service, becoming a funeral director and dedicating more than 20 years to caring for families at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home. Through his compassion, professionalism, and gentle presence, he provided comfort and guidance to countless families during some of life's most difficult moments.

Steve’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his generosity, unwavering love for his family, and the joy he brought to every life he touched.
