Jane M. Homer

Jane M. Homer, 46, of Indiana, died Friday, July 4th, 2014 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana. Jane worked for Cummins in Columbus, Indiana for the last 4 years all within the Human Resources department. Prior to moving to Columbus, she was a stay at home mom where she home schooled her two daughters. Jane also worked in Human Resources for Hewlett-Packard for 8 years in the Atlanta, Georgia area prior to having her children. She graduated from Emory University in Atlanta in 1990 where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Jane has always been very active with her church wherever she has lived, holding positions as a Sunday school teacher, elder and most recently a member of the Westside Community Church Vision team in Columbus, Indiana. She was also very active with the Marietta Campmeeting revival where she has attended every year since her birth. She had a deep love for the Lord and His work. Jane’s main passion in life was spending time with her family. She enjoyed time on the lake, family movie nights and helping her husband Paul with home improvement projects. She also enjoyed classical music and classical literature. Born March 16th, 1968, Jane was the daughter of Margaret L. and William D. McJunkin Sr. of Marietta, Georgia. Jane and her family moved to Columbus, Indiana in 2008. She is preceded in death by her father William McJunkin Sr. Survivors include husband Paul, daughters Christine and Katherine, mother Margaret L. McJunkin and brothers William McJunkin Jr. and Richard Summerour. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 21st at 2:00pm under the arbor at Marietta Campground, where she attended Campmeeting her entire life, with Pastor Dr. Charles Sineath officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm under the arbor, 2301 Roswell Road, Marietta, Ga 30062. Dress is casual.
