Joel Jackson, 69, of Marietta, passed away May 8, 2012. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, in the Chapel of Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home, Marietta, with Rev. Greg Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Jackson retired from Lockheed. He is survived by his wife, RoxAnne Jackson, Marietta; two sons, Scott Jackson & wife, Terri, Acworth, and Jeffrey Jackson & wife, Arianna, Marietta; his father, Dewey Jackson & wife, Hazel, Marietta; three sisters, Janeice Long, Cartersville, Joyce Denard & husband, Melvyn, Marietta, and Jo Lynne O’Reilly & husband, Vin, Alpharetta; four grandchildren, Katrina, Tyler, Hannah, and Zachary Jackson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Jackson may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cobb County Unit, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd, Kennesaw, GA 30329.
