Johnny Warren Black

Funeral service will be 1 PM Friday in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Smyrna with Rev. Dave Hinson officiating. Burial will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.

Mr. Black was the Owner/ Operator of Insurance Services from 1981 until his retirement. He was a 1961 Graduate of Campbell High School and was a member of Da Boys. He served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Black was a member and Past President of the American Legion Post #160. He was a member of the Austin-Healey National Car Club and was an avid car enthusiast and restorer of old cars. He adored his Grandchildren.

Survivors include his Wife of 48 years- Carolyn Ford Black of Powder Springs, Daughter and Son in Law- Laura Black and Steven Schell of Powder Springs, Son- Barry W. Black of Atlanta, Brother- Richard T. Black of Cartersville, Sister- Cherlye Edington of Sevierville, TN. Three Grandchildren- Camden, Adelyn and Barret Schell.
