Mrs. Kathleen Hansard Cochran, age 84, of Marietta, GA passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 28th in the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Larry Ritch officiating. Interment will be in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Cochran retired after 20 years with the Cobb County Schools in food service. She was a skilled seamstress, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Cochran was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Truman James Cochran and her son James Richard Cochran.
Mrs. Cochran is survived by her son, William Howard Cochran of Jupiter, FL; daughters, Ann Cochran Cameron of Marietta, Sue Cochran Wingard of Asheville, NC; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM, Wednesday, August 27th at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta (770) 424-4924.
