She is survived by her two sons, Douglas R. Delk (Stacy) of Acworth, GA and Kevin M. Delk (Kelly) of Scotts Valley, CA; brother, George F. Lucas (Bonnie) of Grayslake, IL; five grandchildren, Sydney Delk, Megan Delk, William Delk, Everett Delk, and Whitaker Delk; and her sweetheart, Don W. Evans of Dallas, GA.
Leda was a 1967 graduate of Northmont High School in Clayton, Ohio. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from Wright State University in 1971. Leda was an incredibly strong and charismatic woman who faced every obstacle with resolve, confidence, and poise. Leda had an infectious smile that could brighten any room.
While Leda’s family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember her in a way that honors her Life. A Memorial Service will be held on March 8, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home, located at 180 Church Street, NE, Marietta, GA 30060 with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
