Linda was born in Atlanta, Georgia, attended South Cobb High School in Austell, and lived in Mableton and Powder Springs throughout her life. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Donald, for over 47 years; loving mother to her son, Brian; and beloved Nana to her granddaughters, Charlotte and Amelia.
Linda was a member of Macland Baptist Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. Previously, she was a longtime member of Mableton First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Skinner; and parents, Harold Tibbetts and Dorothy Payne Tibbetts of Mableton, Georgia. She is survived by son, Brian; daughter-in-law, Carrie; and granddaughters, Charlotte and Amelia Skinner. She is also survived by her brother, Dwight Tibbetts; and sister, Lesa Tibbetts; sisters-in-law, Kathy Skinner Tibbetts and Jeanie Skinner Swickward; brother-in-law Terry Skinner; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 7th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Davis-Struempf Funeral Home in Austell, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 8th at First Baptist Church of Mableton at 11:00am. Interment to follow the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
