Lois Dianne Patterson

Dianne was born on September 17, 1943, in Fulton County, Georgia. She graduated from Southwest High School and went on to build a dedicated career with the General Services Administration, where she worked faithfully until her retirement. Known for her selfless spirit and unwavering devotion, Dianne was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother who always placed her family at the center of her life.

She found joy in sewing children’s clothing, a reflection of her caring nature, and treasured the time she spent with her loved ones. Her kindness, strength, and quiet generosity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Virlyn W. Chafin and Lois Aileen Wehunt; her beloved husband, Clyde “Pat” Patterson; and her brother, V.W. Chafin, Jr.

She is survived by her siblings, Ellen Derreth and Mark Chafin; her three children, David Kennedy and his wife Marlene, Patty Fosse and her husband Scott, and Pam Jordan and her husband Tim; and her three grandchildren, Jessica Fosse, Zachary Kennedy, and Dakota Kennedy; step-granddaughter Ashley Jordan Ely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
