

Mrs. Mills was born in Cobb County, Georgia on August 15, 1932, daughter of the late William Robert Law and the late Arabella Janie Stephens Law. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred William Mills, Sr., on May 10, 2015, by a daughter, Linda Mills, and by eight siblings. Mrs. Mills was a homemaker and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Her greatest joy in life was her family and she also loved music, sewing, reading and writing.
Survivors include a daughter, Julia Mills Sloss, Rome; a son, Fred William Mills, Jr. and his wife, Rebecca, Silver Creek; four grandchildren, Christopher Mills and his wife, Joni, Jody Mills and his wife, Cierra, Delia Mills, and Amanda Fincher and her husband, Luke; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Richard Law and his wife, Margaret, Kennesaw; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at 11am in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Gary Silvers officiating. Interment will follow at 2pm on Tuesday at the Kennesaw Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Monday from 5:30 until 7:30pm. At other hours, they will be at their respective residences.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Tuesday at 10:30am and include: Active: Fred Mills, Jr., Christopher Mills, Patrick Huether, Bryson Fincher, Zach Snow, and Jody Mills. Honorary: Luke Fincher.
