The list of lives Grady touched is endless and evidenced by his taking on a widow 42 years ago with three children under the age of 12. Grady was a loving and giving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved his Savior, his heritage, his church, and teaching Sunday School to adults and children alike. He deeply enjoyed golfing, junking, cooking, and the taste of a sun kissed tomato straight off a summer vine. Grady was well known for his wicked sense of humor. When asked if he had any regrets, his response was, “All of the sins I didn’t commit.”
Contributions may be made to Maple Avenue United Methodist Church, 63 Maple Avenue NW, Marietta, GA 30064.
