Margaret Lovinggood Dean

A lifelong resident of Marietta, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Vester Dean, and her daughter, Janet Lynn Dean.

Margaret was a very active person and was not one to sit still. For many years, she worked as a rural mail carrier. She later became a real estate agent and worked both jobs for a period of time. Eventually, she retired from carrying mail and focused on real estate, where she became one of the most successful agents in the country.

Margaret was a caring and giving person who will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Dean White and her husband, Cliff, of Dahlonega, and Andy Lester Dean of Acworth; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon at Mayes Ward Dobbins Historic Marietta Chapel, 180 Church Street, Marietta, GA. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Interment will follow the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
