Mary Lou Kenworthy

Mrs. Mary Lou Green Kenworthy, age 86, of Marietta, GA died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. A native of Atchison, Kansas, Mary Lou moved to Cobb County 50 years ago. She was married to LeRoy J. Kenworthy for 55 years. Mary Lou retired from the Bell Companies after 46 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and a sister. Mary Lou is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Mary K. and Carl Stone of Dallas, GA and Lynn and Greg Mosely of Woodstock, GA; her grandson, Chad (Ashley) Cotton of Marietta and her great-grandson, Bently Cotton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary Lou’s memory may be made to the Bently LeRoy Cotton Education Fund, Account # 44200686 at any Fidelity Bank. A memorial service will be held Sunday July 10 at 2 p.m. at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta with Pastor Joel Miller officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
