Mary Helen Cheatham McClure Blocker, 92, of Acworth/Marietta, died Friday, February 3, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 MONDAY morning in the chapel of Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Ken Ellison officiating. Burial will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park. Mrs. Blocker was

born and raised in Acworth. She was a retired employee of First National Bank in Marietta and a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elliott C. McClure, second husband, Rex Blocker, and her daughter, Linda Faye McClure Buran. Surviving are her sons, Gary (Janice) McClure of St. Simons Island, and Michael (Tracy) McClure of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Mark Buran, Tracy Evens, Matthew McClure, David McClure, Christina Allen, Melissa Hudson, and Dr. Michelle McClure; 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
