Mary Mayes Suhr

Mrs. Suhr was born August 19, 1927 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Mark Mayes and Emmie Montgomery Mayes. She was the sister of Martha Mayes Young.

She is predeceased by her son, Robert Jr, and daughter, Mary. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Suhr; daughters and son-in-laws, Nancy and David Hunter and Lindy and Bubba Wyche; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Sally Suhr; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Marietta. Service honoring Mary's love for the Lord will be held at First Presbyterian on Monday, February 2 at 11:00 am. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain, 475 Dickson Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064.

Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta will be handling the arrangements.
