

Megan Arleigh Linderman (February 28, 1998-July 27, 2025), unexpectedly passed away in an auto accident at the age of 27. Megan was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know and to love her and to be loved by her.
Born on February 28, 1998 in Columbus, Ohio, Megan was adopted into the Linderman Family. Thad Thomas Linderman and Melinda Carol Anderson Linderman were so excited to welcome their oldest child into their home on March 14, 1998. She was always considered by her parents to be their miracle child.
Megan lived a life filled with love of art, outdoor activities, sports, and cars. Megan lived in Rochester Hills, Michigan; Hudson, Ohio; Brookfield, Wisconsin; Milton, Georgia; and Dallas, Texas. She was known for her bright spirit, her love for those around her, and for her infectious laughter. She often showed her love to others through kind words. She loved the outdoors, and connected with nature throughout her life while frog catching, rock-collecting, sledding, and cross-country running. Though faced with many hardships throughout her life, she persevered with hope and determination for the future until the end.
She was preceded in death by her son Finnick Armond Smith-Linderman who passed away in 2021. She is survived by her daughter Layla Melody Linderman, her parents Thad and Melinda Linderman, her siblings Sara Linderman and Ryan Linderman, and many extended family members and friends.
Megan will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 a.m. at the Coit Building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 970 North Coit Road, Prosper, TX 75078.
