Michael is survived by his wife, Gloria M. Buckland; children, Margaret "Peggy" Keith Wells (Edward), Michael Nelson Mose Buckland, Jr. (Savannah), William John "Johnny Kakes" Buckland, Mark William Buckland, Billy McKenzie Buckland; granddaughter, Gloria Jean Wells; parents, Mark and Loretta Smith Buckland; siblings, Mark Buckland (Penny), Sonya Shepherd (Jeff), Loretta Davis (Isaac), Bridget Pierce (Richard), Willy Buckland (Janey); numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Michael will be held Friday, February 23, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Carmichael Funeral Home, 1130 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064. A visitation will occur Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 1130 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064. A celebration of life will occur Sunday, February 25, 2024 at 11:00 AM, 1130 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, GA 30064. A burial will occur Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Kennesaw Memorial Park, 1306 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, Georgia 30064.
