It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Reggie Lee Turner, who departed this life on June 3, 2026, at the age of 56. Born in 1969, Reggie was a proud native of Cobb County. He graduated from McEachern High School in the class of 1987 and later attended Georgia Southern University.
Reggie built a successful career as a master electrician at Derek Fowler Electrical Company, where his skill and dedication were highly valued. Outside of his professional life, Reggie was a passionate sports fan, fiercely loyal to Tom Brady, following his career with both the Patriots and the Buccaneers, and a devoted supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs.
He possessed a remarkable talent for singing, often to the amusement of his friends, because he frequently and shamelessly was mistaken for Travis Tritt. A true enthusiast, Reggie was also a dedicated MASH fan and memorabilia collector. Known as the life of the party, he cherished playing trivia with his friends.
Reggie was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Turner. He is survived by his loving mother, Patricia McClain; his son, Tristan Turner; his brother, Andy Turner and sister-in-law Lisa; his Aunt Kay Griffin Rackley; his Uncle Jimmy Turner; and many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. Reggie was also deeply loved by a wide circle of close friends. His vibrant spirit and warm presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
