I was shocked and saddened to learn of Ron's passing. For about 10 years in the late 1970's and early 80's, Ron and I were lunchtime running partners and shared many weekend race experiences together. Away from the road, we shared work as well as social time. I remember Ron's wit and insight and, most of all, that he was always a gentleman of the highest integrity.

Our sympathies go out to you, Marie, as well as to Susan, Caroline and Paul and their families. We'll keep you in our thoughts in this time of sadness.
