Trenton had an infectious smile that could light up any room, and he gave the biggest hugs that made you feel truly loved. He was kind hearted, outgoing and loved to laugh. He made friends easily.
He loved plants and animals, especially turtles. He had his mom’s gift for art. He enjoyed reading books, listening to music and playing sports. Growing up, he played basketball, baseball and football. He was the starting center for the North Oldham High School Football team during his senior year. He was a sports fan who was devoted, just like his dad, to the Cincinnati Reds and North Carolina State Wolfpack. He also loved the Atlanta Falcons in keeping with his birth in Georgia.
He wasn’t perfect, but he was authentic; he was truly himself. Sometimes to a fault. His Mom and Dad loved him fiercely despite his flaws.
Trenton publicly accepted Jesus into his heart and was baptized at age 7 while active at Springdale Community Church in Louisville, KY. Even though he may have drifted away and questioned his faith in later years, he recently told his dad he had gotten right with the Lord while working to recover from his addictions.
