W.L. was the epitome of hard work, dedication, and love for his family. As a young entrepreneur, he spent 18 years working for ARA, a vending company, before following his dream of building something of his own. He went on to establish Georgia Automated Foods, which he successfully operated in Atlanta for 20 years. Because of his friendly and outgoing nature, he quickly built relationships with customers—many of whom became lifelong friends. His strong work ethic, and commitment to excellence were evident in everything he did. W.L. believed in the value of hard work and took great pride in providing for those he loved.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, W.L. was a devoted father and a man who cherished his family above all else. He was always there to offer guidance, encouragement, and unwavering love. In his retirement years, he was especially attentive in caring for his aging parents.
W.L. had a deep passion for music and was gifted at playing several instruments. His love for music began at a young age while listening to his grandmother Reagh play hymns on the French harp, guitar, and violin.
W.L. was a Christian, making a profession of faith at Green Acres Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Lee Reagh Sr. and Ruth Reagh, and his sister, Dixie Lee Bishop. He is survived by his children, Matt Reagh (Kayla), Angela Reagh, and Starla Reagh Woityra (Rick); his sister, Ann Smith; nephews, Hollis Hugh Smith, Jr. and Wayne Smith; one grandson, Christopher; and two great-grandsons, Maddox and Ezra.
A memorial service celebrating W.L.’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Mayes Ward Dobbins Chapel in Marietta. Burial will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. Family visitation will be held from 12:00–1:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, as this was one of his favorite charities.
