

August 16, 1970 to Munife and Huseyin Ulutas in Erzincan, Türkiye.
The most charismatic fellow you could ever meet, Yakup never met a stranger and has friends
in every corner of the world. After starting his career at The Ciragan Palace Kempinski in
Istanbul, Turkiye, he followed his dream to come to America where he proved to be an asset to
the hospitality industry here, helping to build the Café Intermezzo Brand in Atlanta where he
worked for 18 years. He has been the General Manager at Reveille Café in Acworth for the
past 9 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hussein Ulutas. He is survived by his wife, Julia, his
mother Munife, his brother Coskun and his wife Nuray, and his sister-in-law Gul. His brother
Nevzat and his wife Nursel. His sister, Filiz and her husband Cetin. His nephews, Emre, Engin,
his nieces Esra, Merve, Elif all from Istanbul, Turkiye. His nephew Ahmet of London, England
and Palladin and his wife Alicia of Waterville, Kansas.
Family and friends are welcome Friday, August 16 from 5-7 at Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral
Home for visitation.
Memorial Service is Saturday, August 17 at 2:00 at the funeral home followed by interment at
Kennesaw Memorial Park.
Reveille Café is hosting a luncheon and celebration of Life for all of Yakup’s family and friends at
The American Legion Post 29 in Marietta following the interment.
