Ben, your mother and daddy were neighbors of my parents(Lovell, Garland and Evelyn) when they lived on Hundley Street. So sorry for your loss. May God comfort you.

I'm praying for Peace for Mrs. Ann Winn's family and loved ones.
When I began working at the Martinsville Bulletin years ago, Ann was a very important part of our management team. She was a strong, intelligent and classy lady who always tried to be fair. I'll always remember how her eyes smiled when she laughed and her wonderful sense of humor.
Mr. Winn would also visit periodically. He always shared a big smile and kind words.

Always remember the good times and how much she loved you.

Ben
I just saw in the paper that you mom passed away. I am so sorry for your loss. We met at the Manor several times as my mom Ann Alsop was there, and when she first arrived your mom ate with her in the dining room. I would always go see your mom when I visited my mom, even after they moved her to the other side and she was not sure who I was. May God give you comfort in knowing she is at peace and I know she loved you very much. In the early years mom was there she would talk to me about you. Prayers as you lay her to rest.

Ben, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was always the lady and wonderful friend. I knew her for many years when she was working at the Bulletin and traveled to Europe with her and your father and the Haskells and a good time was had in Paris on New Years Eve.

Again I am sorry and you take care.
