Anne Parker Scott

Anne Parker Scott, 90, of 940 Colonial Drive in Collinsville, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Franklin County on August 20, 1921 to the late Alfred and Rosa Setliff Parker. Anne was married to Clemon Edgar Scott who died in military service in January of 1955. She was a member of Starling Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia S. Smith of Ridgeway; two sons, John H. Scott of the residence and Clemon E. (Eddie) Scott, Jr. of Myrtle Beach, SC; two sisters, Vera Cahill of Bassett and Ida Moran of Collinsville; one brother, Melvin Parker of Miami, FL; three grandchildren, Bentley S, Smith of Cleveland, OH, Ross P. Smith of Ridgeway and Valerie S. Wells of Myrtle Beach, SC; one great-grandchild, Annie Rita Wells.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel with Dr. David Adkins and Rev. Tracy Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park in Danville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel.
