Bessie Hennis Hennis Pratt

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Gerald Pratt; and eleven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise P. Morrison (Larry) of Ridgeway; son, Keith Pratt (Anita V.B.) of Winchester VA; grandson, Matthew Lawrence Morrison; sister, Doris Shelton of Eden NC.

Mrs. Pratt was a graduate of Sandy Ridge High School and was a member of Mayo Baptist Church.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with her nephew, Minister Thomas Joyce officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17, 2017 at McKee Stone Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
