Johnny and Family,

We were so sorry to hear about Donald. I know he was in a lot of discomfort but now he is feeling fantastic with your mom, dad, and Mike. I was 7 years old when Donald was born. I remember the day your mom brought him home. I really enjoyed looking at the photos from the old days and current. It brought back so many memories. For those that didn't know, my mom and dad and two sisters lived virtually next door to the Eanes with a log cabin separating us that at one time my aunt and uncle owned. We had so much fun growing up until 1963 when we moved from to another home in Martinsville. I still came over and spent the weekends. Johnny and I are the same age. Christine was a second mom to me. It's amazing how much Donald looked like Johnny when he was young. I know you'll miss him. It was good to know he was able to see his daughter get married and have children. I didn't hang out with Donald as much as I did Johnny but he was a great kid. We are praying for you and your nieces.

Take care,

Sam (Sammy) Fishel

I grew up with Donald and the Eanes family. He suffered for so long; I know he is now at peace and it gives me solace though he went way too soon. I truly hope he knew how much he meant to others.

Forever loved and forever my family.
Sincerely,
Dena

I am saddened to hear of Donald's passing. I knew him from coming by the service station, always a nice guy. My thoughts are with the family at this time.
