Frances Ferguson Miles

Frances Ferguson Miles, 86, of Spencer, VA passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018. She was born in Sandy Ridge, NC on May 26, 1932 to Henry and Ola Ferguson. In addition to her parents Mrs. Miles was preceded in death by her husband Jack Miles; her grandson John Treavor Cox and brothers, Henry Jr., Cleo, and Wayne Ferguson. Frances was a member of Sandy Ridge Presbyterian Church and attended Old Well Christian Church for many years. Frances is survived by a daughter, Judy (Tim) Cox of Spencer, Va.; a granddaughter, Tracy (Tony) Meade of Spencer Va.; three great granddaughters, Kaylie, Kaci and Kagan Meade of Spencer; brother Donnie Ferguson of Sandy Ridge, NC and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home with Pastor Curt Ashley officiating. Interment will follow at Old Well Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
