Chuck and I along several other kids in the neighborhood always hung out either at my mom's house or at Reggies house. Mr. Newman was always so good to us. He picked and always had a smile on his face, especially after one of his talks or jokes. So many memories.

I am so very sorry for your loss Reggie, Joan and the rest of the family. I pray for comfort and peace for you all.

Mr. Newman was the father of one of my neighborhood best friends when I was in middle to high school. Mr. Newman enjoyed picking on me about things that had happened earlier or that Reggie had told him. I remember I spent time having conversations with Mr. Newman on days the "Neighborhood Crew - like the Stranger Things Crew" went bike riding in the woods or on Fred's land. I enjoyed my visits with him. I have wonderful memories of Reggie and his parents..

Reggie - I am so sorry for your lose. Hugs from an old friend. Robin

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Newman's passing. I enjoyed getting to know him when he worked on my lawn equipment. And I especially loved to hear him talk about his beautiful roses. My sincere condolences to Reggie and the rest of the family.

Reggie and I met in the seventh grade and my family became neighbors with Fred and Joan much later. For the past 31 years, they have been kind, supporting friends and have had a great impact on my life and the lives of my children. Fred’s love and sense of humor reminded me of my late father. He is greatly missed. Our love and prayers are with you, Patty and family

Uncle Freddie always made us feel welcome and enjoyed opening his home every Christmas for our family Christmas Luncheons. One year , I remember, he gave us all a wooden Christmas ornament he had made for each of us. He loved his family and friends. We will all miss him.
