Geneva W. Hensley

Geneva Williams Hensley, 90, of Wagon Trail Road, Ridgeway, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County, NC. She was born on November 24, 1920 in Bluefield, WV, to the late George Henderson Williams and Nannie Martin Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dillard Hensley, and two sisters, Sarah Belva Williams and Lorraine Williams Bouldin.

Mrs. Hensley worked for Peidmont Trust Bank/BB&T and retired with more than 40 years of service. She was a member of Horsepasture Christian Church and the Ladies Sunday School Class 7. She was a graduate of Spencer-Penn High School.

Surviving are one daughter, Donna K. Leahey of Horsepasture, sons and daughters-in-law Stephen K. and Susan Hensley of Jamestown, NC, and Mark K. and Sue Hensley of Claremont,CA, sister Irene (Billie) McDaniel of Horsepasture, brother and sister-in-law George Kenneth and Mary Williams of Horsepasture, and grandchildren Megan Leahey, and Daniel, Catherine, Robert, Christina and Juliana Hensley

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Horsepasture Christian Church, Ridgeway, VA with Minister Dave Cuthbertson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Horsepasture Christian Church and other times at 1119 Wagon Trail Road, Ridgeway.
