

He was born in Martinsville on March 18, 1937 to Glen Edward Cochran and Belva Davis Cochran, both deceased. He was employed in the textile industry and, following his retirement was an employee of Oakey’s Funeral Home in Roanoke for 16 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Delores Minter Cochran, a son, Bradley Todd Cochran, and one brother, Jerry Wayne Cochran, Sr.
He is survived by one daughter, Kathy G. Cochran of Collinsville; one son, Glen E. Cochran III of Martinsville; two grandchildren, Adrian Elizabeth Claytor and Brooke Alexandra Cochran; four great grandchildren, Bobby Claytor, Mariah Cochran, Aidan Claytor, and Jax Cochran; and sister, Lois Cochran Prillaman and her husband, Charles “Skip” of Martinsville.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Collins- McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel. Pastor Ron Graham will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.
