Glenda Ferrell Roach

Glenda Ferrell Roach, 74, of Collinsville, died Saturday, December 22, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Henry County, September 3, 1938 to Glen Andrew Roach and Ethel Harris Roach, both deceased. Glenda was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School and was employed by Finney Building Supply for over 50 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville where she was on the property committee, Agape Sunday School Class, WMU and the Friendship Club. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1967(Laureate Alpha Gamma Chapter).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Delano Roach.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Karan Segura, Wendy Poe Stacy Cassell and Glen Daniel Roach; one aunt, Della Eanes of Roanoke.

The funeral service will be held Monday, December 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Rev. Larry Cheek officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Collinsville, 3339 Virginia Avenue, Collinsville, VA 24078.
