She was born October 2, 1926 in Martinsville, VA to the late Jessie S. and Sally Lou Davis Draper. She was also preceded in death by a brother: Spottsyl Davis Draper and a sister: Margaret Draper Prillaman.
She is survived by a brother: Thomas Gilmore “Gill” Draper of Bassett, four nephews and seven nieces.
She graduated from Martinsville High School and Perry Business School. She retired from E I DuPont with 41 years of service. She was a lifetime member of Broad Street Christian Church.
The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Parkinson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Burial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Broad Street Christian Church, 106 Broad Street, Martinsville, VA 24112.
