I was unaware of Aunt Irene's passing until just last night. She was my great-grandmother, Ellen Hill's sister. I remember her coming over to Mammy's and Pappy's house all the time to visit. She was such a sweet lady and I'm sorry for your loss.

My heart is very sad knowing Aunt Irene is no longer with us.  Looking back through these photos I am reminded of a happy life of years past.  I am thankful of those memories and happy times.  Peace be with Melissa, Regina, and Brad. I miss your Mama, too.

So sorry to hear of Aunt Irene's passing.  Always such a sweet woman with a kind word and a smile. I can't believe she is the last of her siblings.  There is a real void now without the Cooper Sisters keeping family traditions alive. 
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.  It is so hard when you lose a loved one.

Old friends are forever in the heart!! Regina, Melissa, & Brad..I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mama. I spend many nights at your house & enjoyed many good times with your family (I especially remembering going to Snows Sandwich shop!!) Please know I have you in my thoughts and prayers. Irene must have become something of an artistic specialist from my childhood requests for Santa in a chimney.  I remember her fondly, hope the end of life here was a peaceful experience, and our sincerest sympathy is expressed to all of her survivors.  Fred and Jean Gilley
