Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Rebecca Burgess Wilson; daughter, Susan Jones; grandchildren, Brianna Wilson, Christina Jones and Amber Jones; great granddaughter, Nancy Hernandez.
Mr. Wilson was an insurance salesman and a member of Chatham Heights United Methodist Church.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Reverend Haywood Alcorn. Burial will be at Dan View Cemetery in Eden NC.
