Joseph Allen Freeman, 43, of Martinsville, Va. passed away Saturday, September 12, 2026. He was born in Martinsville October 5, 1982, to James E. “Jimmy” Freeman and the late Cheryl Jean Pilson Freeman.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, James D. Freeman (Crystal) and nephew Daniel Freeman; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
Joseph was employed at Fairystone Imports where he had worked for the past 25 years. He loved working on old cars and watching old black and white movies.
The funeral will be held Thursday, September 17, 2026, at McKee Stone Funeral Home and will be officiated by Reverend William “Bill” Preskitt. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm prior to the funeral and other times at the home.
