Linda Yarbrough Lavinder, 52, of Bassett, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville. She was born in Martinsville, September 10, 1960 to Fletcher B. Yarbrough of Martinsville and the late Juanita Hankins Yarbrough. Linda was previously employed by the postal service as a mail carrier in Danville.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a daughter, Leah R. Lavinder, a son, Robby L. Lavinder, one sister, Donna Yarbrough Taylor, and her fiancée, Brian D. Martin.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 2:00 P.M at Mckee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Dr. David Adkins officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service.
