Margaret Virginia George

Margaret Virginia Priddy George, 81, of Martinsville, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at Blue Ridge Rehab Center where she was a resident. She was born in Henry County on April 26, 1930 to the late James Scales Priddy and Clara Wade Priddy. She retired from Pannill Knitting and was of the Holiness faith.

Surviving are five daughters, Iris Vires of Collinsville, Jacqueline Roach of Ridgeway, Shirley Compton of Martinsville, Phyllis George of Ridgeway and Audrey George of Martinsville; four sisters, Ann McHorn of Walnut Cove, NC, Barbara Brincefield of Fayetteville, NC, Betty Bomar of Henry County and Linda Wheeler of Martinsville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville with the Rev. Joe Nunley officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday at McKee-Stone Funeral Home.
