She was born in Campbell County, VA on July 8, 1925 to Edward Frank Skinner and Maude Inge Skinner.
She retired from the Lynchburg Live Stock Market where she was employed in the clerical department for many years. She was a member of the Association of Bible Students.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Lipscomp and two brothers, Frank R. Skinner and Nathan W. Skinner.
She is survived by two nieces, Carolyn S. Hutchinson of Lynchburg and Phyllis S. Brewster of Midland; one sister-in-law, Nellie D. Skinner of Lynchburg.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Robinson Funeral Home in Appomattox, VA with Tim Armstrong officiating.
