Marie Allman McCrickard

Marie Allman McCrickard, 90, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at King’s Grant Retirement Community. She was born in Franklin County, August 22, 1923 to Amos Canader Allman and Annie Perdue Allman. Marie was a graduate of Glade Hill High School and was a long-time member of McCabe Memorial Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ira Chapman McCrickard and her brother A. C. Allman, Jr.

Surviving are three daughters, Myra J. McCrickard and husband Steve Gohmann of New Albany, Indiana, Tina M. Craig of Martinsville, Roxanne M. Collins and husband Sandy of Martinsville; one son, Barry W. McCrickard and wife Kay of Martinsville, two grandchildren, Kevin McCrickard and Katherine Gohmann.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 12 Noon at McCabe Memorial Baptist Church with Dr. G. H. Vaughan officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service at the church.
